“Using a one-size-fits-all approach does not deliver impactful interventions for clients. I focus my consultative practice on deeply understanding the client needs and designing experiences that are focused on meeting those outcomes. My goal for every engagement is the client and their participants leave with actionable behaviors and strategies which will be sustainable in their professional journey.”

Q&A WITH TARIS G. MULLINS

What unique perspective do you bring to your practice?

The unique perspective I bring to the practice is I had the privilege of serving as a leadership facilitator with Loeb for five years before this role. I deeply understand the impact our work can have on clients and their organizations. My passion for curiosity has allowed me to design and deliver curated experiences focused on sustainable impact for organizations.

Describe major career/life decisions that led you to your current role. How have these experiences shaped the way you engage with clients?

One of the greatest lessons I have learned across my career is that the process cannot supersede the people, it must be the people in service of the process. Meaning that if we want the best outcomes for the organization then we have to ensure we are focused on the best outcomes for our people.

What are a couple of your biggest successes?

I actually think my greatest moments of success have come from moments when I thought I failed or things went differently than expected. Being an educator at heart, I try to focus on a growth mindset in all that I do. So in those instances where things did not go according to plan, I had to ask myself what can I takeaway from this moment and use it as I move forward. I call them, "anchor moments," because they don't define me but rather serve as reminders that anchor how I show up in all that I do.
