Meet Tirek

Tirek has an an extensive coaching background, over the last 20 years, in various capacities including athletics, personal development and at all levels in the legal profession.

He serves as the Director of Administration and Finance at a top Trust and Estates firm in New York City. His focus is on law firm operations and financial management.

Throughout his career, Tirek has played a key role in helping firms grow and operate more efficiently by implementing strategic financial planning, optimizing administrative processes and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. His expertise in streamlining operations, managing budgets, and enhancing firm-wide efficiency has made him a valuable asset in the legal industry and beyond. Before transitioning into coaching and law firm administration, Tirek worked as a senior paralegal, and case manager at several top New York City firms.

As entrepreneur at heart, he co-founded a legal technology firm and a boutique wine shop. In 2012, he delved into politics and became the first African American elected to the Cornwall School Board. Tirek holds an MBA from Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Vassar College.

As a four-year starter on Vassar's Men's Basketball team, he scored over 1,000 points and secured more than 1,000 rebounds in his career.

Coaching Philosophy

I bring a unique and fresh perspective to coaching because of my upbringing and varied experiences. I am privileged to have a had multitude of unique experiences in so many areas from law to entrepreneurship to athletics. These experiences allow me to relate and engage with my clients on various levels. My biggest successes to date have been helping people find that inner fighting spirit that is hidden inside of them. Also, shining a light on my client's blind spots which allows them to have their own "aha" moments which allow for real breakthroughs.
